The State Enterprise Izmail Commercial Sea Port has started looking for a contractor to pay more than UAH 15 million for the repair of the Condor portal crane.

The corresponding tender in the public procurement system was announced on the last day of 2024, according to the Center for Public Investigations.

Applications for participation in the tender can be submitted until January 9, and the auction itself will be held in the format of an open bidding on January 10. The expected cost of the work is UAH 15 million 762 thousand 665.

According to the tender documents, the repair will include a range of locksmithing and assembly work with the replacement and restoration of key parts of the crane mechanisms. In particular, it is planned to dismantle, inspect and replace worn-out elements of the brake system, gearboxes, electric hydraulic pushers, couplings, drums and other components. Particular attention is being paid to restoring the nominal dimensions of the connections and ensuring the reliability of the crane.

The work will also involve the mechanisms for turning, moving the crane and changing the boom reach. The contractor will not only have to replace worn parts, but also adjust all components to ensure efficient operation of the equipment. The customer or the contractor will provide the necessary materials and parts.

The equipment is to be put into operation by May 1, 2025.

Izmail Sea Port recently signed a major cargo transportation contract with Ukrzaliznytsia. The expected value of the purchase is UAH 150 million. The contract was concluded under the non-tender procedure of procurement from a single participant, as only Ukrzaliznytsia can provide such services.

Also, the Izmail Sea Commercial Port SE purchased a minivan from the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai Staria for UAH 2 million 034 thousand through a direct contract, i.e. without bidding. The port purchased the vehicle from the Odesa subsidiary of Basis Auto, the ultimate beneficiary of which is Oleksandr Kaufman, the brother of the odious businessman Borys Kaufman.

The Izmail port also purchased a garbage truck for 5 million hryvnias from the MP's company with Russian business.
