Izmail port to allocate over UAH 19 million for floating crane repair

The state-owned enterprise Izmail Commercial Sea Port has awarded the contract for the repair of the SPK-10 floating crane to the only bidder, the local company V.G. Marine Service.

This is reported by Intent with reference to the public procurement website Prozorro.

By the end of 2025, the Izmail-based company is to upgrade the crane with the following parameters: length - 34.3 meters, width - 15.8 meters, side height - 3.1 meters, dock weight - 570.07 tons.

The contract specifies the following works: dock and hull works - replacement of the outer hull skin; two coats of painting of the underwater part, main deck, anchor chain, and surface side; painting the name of the vessel and port of registration; inspection and cleaning of tanks, fuel tanks, and ballast water tanks; repair of the engine and auxiliary mechanisms; repair of the load lifting mechanism, swivel mechanism, and swivel device.

During the provision of services, the contractor shall present (in stages during the repair process) to the contractor's technical control department and the customer's representatives for inspection and examination the repaired or replaced components, units, devices, equipment and facilities, and shall also present the relevant installation acts in the course of the work with the execution of the relevant installation acts. The warranty period for the services provided is 1 year.

According to the YouControl analytical service, V.G. Marine Service Private Enterprise was registered in Izmail in 2002. The main activity is repair and maintenance of ships and boats. The sole owner and manager is Sergey Taichan from Reni.

In August 2025, V.G. Marine Service received a UAH 12 million contract from the Port of Izmail to supply new engines for a tugboat.
