Izmail City Council Awards ₴5.2M Tender to SMU-56 for Water Supply Repairs

The Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council of Izmail District, Odesa Region, has conducted a procurement to select a company that will be paid to prevent man-made emergencies related to the protection of centralized water supply networks.

The announcement was published in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

It concerns the current repair of a section of Lisova Street from Vostochna Street to Yuvileina Street in the direction of port facilities and transshipment points.

The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special conditions, and the only participant was SMU-56 Limited Liability Company. The company expects to receive UAH 5 million 204.5 thousand if the deal is concluded.

According to the YouControl service, the company was registered in Izmail in 2018. The owner is Vitaliy Popov. In 2025, the company won more than 60 tenders for UAH 113 million 961 thousand.

The water supply is to be provided along Bilhorod-Dnistrovska Street from Svyato-Nikolska Street to Portova Street (the direction of traffic to port facilities and transshipment points). The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with the participation of one company - SMU-56 Limited Liability Company.

"This is not the first time SMU-56 has won road tenders in the city without an auction. In January, the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council of Izmail District, Odesa Region, held a procurement to select a contractor to be paid for services to prevent the occurrence of man-made emergencies.
