Izmail City Council Awards 7M Contract for Water Supply Repairs

The Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council of Izmail District, Odesa Region, has conducted a procurement to select a company that will be paid to implement measures to prevent man-made emergencies and eliminate their consequences related to the destruction of centralized water supply networks.

This is stated in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

It is about water supply along Bilhorod-Dnistrovska Street from Svyato-Nikolska Street to Portova Street (the direction of movement to port facilities and transshipment points). The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with the participation of one company, SMU-56 Limited Liability Company. The company expects to receive UAH 7 million 447.7 thousand. According to the YouControl service, the LLC was registered in Izmail in 2018. The owner is a local resident Vitaliy Popov. The company is to carry out the works until April 30.

"This is not the first time SMU-56 has won road tenders in the city without an auction. In January, the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council of Izmail District, Odesa Region, held a tender to select a contractor to be paid for services to prevent man-made emergencies. The repairs will be carried out on Pokrovska Street from house No. 28 on that street to Kishynivska Street in the direction of the port facilities and transshipment points. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special features and the only participant was SMU-56 Limited Liability Company.

In November 2024, the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council announced a search for a contractor to carry out the current repair of the road surface of Heroiv Azovstalii Street (before renaming it Krasnodonska). The expected cost of the works is UAH 6 million 615 thousand. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with the participation of a single company, SMU-56 Limited Liability Company.
