In Odesa, the city decided to compensate entrepreneurs who open or maintain invincibility points for the costs of power generators and their maintenance. In addition, the city will reimburse fuel and exempt municipal property from rent until the end of martial law.

The decision was made at a meeting of the executive committee of the Odesa City Council.

The proposal to approve the compensation procedure has been submitted to the Odesa City Military Administration of Odesa District for consideration.

As previously reported by the head of Odesa MMA, Sergey Lysak, business-based steadfastness points have become a real support for Odesa residents in the face of constant blackouts and emergencies.

The new procedure provides for

According to Lysak, the head of the Odesa MVA, these are not benefits, but a partnership between the city and responsible business for the sake of people.

The decision should encourage entrepreneurs to support the work of the invincibility points and ensure the city's viability during crisis situations.

Recently, Intent.Insight analyzed how to adapt urban infrastructure to work in conditions of emergency power supply. Experts discussed international experience and the first practical steps that could increase the resilience of cities right now. They discussed examples from Ukraine and around the world where energy systems were rebuilt in the wake of the war, as well as solutions that could be applied immediately.

Experts also tried to answer key questions: whether the crisis could have become an impetus for development, how the war changed the approach to the formation of cities after it ended, and what should have been done then, without delay.
