After the occupation of the left bank of the Kherson region, a resident of Skadovsk district voluntarily cooperated with the invaders and headed an illegally created agricultural enterprise. He has now been served in absentia with a notice of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state.

According to Chermen Tuskaev, deputy head of the Kherson Police Investigation Department, a 79-year-old resident of Antonivka, located near Skadovsk, was found guilty of anti-Ukrainian activities. The investigation found that in August 2022, the man agreed to cooperate with the invaders. He voluntarily took the position of director of the occupation "state unitary enterprise Antonovka Experimental Farm". The invaders created it on the basis of the seized property complex and production facilities of the State Enterprise "State Farm of the Rice Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine". The main specialization of the pseudo-enterprise was the production of dairy and meat products of cattle, their processing and sale in the occupied territories.

After his appointment, the pseudo-manager immediately drew up a staffing table with the definition of staff units and salaries, which was approved by the occupation authorities of the Kherson region. He also personally recruited employees and determined the areas of their work. At the same time, he agitated his subordinates to support the actions of the aggressor state to seize the Kherson region. In addition, the defendant ensured that the accounting and financial statements of the "enterprise" were kept in accordance with Russian standards, for which he made the appropriate seals and stamps. He also provided paramilitary protection of the territory among the representatives of the Russian aggressor state.

Investigators of the regional police headquarters qualified the "director's" illegal activities as aiding the aggressor state. At present, in agreement with the regional prosecutor's office, the suspect has been served a notice of suspicion in absence. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 12 years with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of 10 to 15 years and with or without confiscation of property.

Earlier, the Security Service detained seven residents of the Kherson region on the right bank of the Kherson River who collaborated with Russian invaders during the occupation of the region and tried to avoid justice after the liberation of Kherson: one of them was going to flee abroad, and the rest were going to "lay low."
