Half a million planned for tree trimming in Mykolaiv region

In the Mykolaiv region, tree trimming is planned. Half a million hryvnias have been allocated from the city budget for this purpose.

The Department of Housing, Utilities and Capital Construction of the Voznesensk City Council has announced a tender for the purchase of services for demolition, crown formation, and sanitary pruning of trees in the city's territorial community.

The expected value of the procurement is UAH 500 thousand.

The auction is scheduled for January 21. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 2,500.

The selected contractor must provide tree trimming services until December 31, 2025. The client will pay for the service within thirty days after acceptance of the work.

Thus, the contractor must remove dead and dangerous trees of soft deciduous species in parts using hydraulic lifts, formative pruning of trees over 5 meters high, manual loading of branches and firewood, and transportation of branches and firewood by MTZ-80 tractor over a distance of 3 kilometers.

The Bidder shall use equipment and materials that do not cause harm to the environment, prevent environmental pollution by fuels and lubricants used in the operation of machines and mechanisms in the provision of services.

Recently, a company whose director is suspected of corruption may be awarded a major energy supply contract in the Mykolaiv region. The municipal enterprise Voznesensk Water Supply announced a tender for the purchase of electricity worth UAH 18.1 million. The director of Mykolaiv Electricity Supply Company LLC is Yevhen Lut, who is suspected of involvement in bribing the Deputy Minister of Energy.

More than UAH 5 million was also allocated to repair the premises of Mykolaiv hospital. A tender has been announced to find a contractor to complete the work in almost a year. The renovation of the medical facility is scheduled to be completed by December 25, 2025.

Meanwhile, in the city of Novyi Buh in Mykolaiv region, the city authorities have announced a tender for street lighting maintenance. UAH 1.6 million has been allocated from the budget for these works. This includes work to ensure the proper operation of streetlights and other lighting devices in the city.
