In August 2025, Khersongaz specialists were actively working to restore gas supply to the de-occupied territories of Kherson region. During this period, they managed to localize and repair 340 damages to gas networks, which allowed gas to be returned to the affected settlements.

This is stated on the company's Facebook page.

At the same time, the company emphasizes that repairs are possible only if consumers pay for the services. The total debt of the residents of the de-occupied territories for gas distribution as of April 1, 2025, has reached more than UAH 245 million. Khersongaz urges people to pay off their debts and offers to sign restructuring agreements.

In addition to financial difficulties, employees face a constant threat. Serhiy Orekhov, deputy head of Kherson MVA, said that regular shelling and drone attacks make repairs in the suburbs of Kherson extremely dangerous. Utility crews are often targeted by the Russian military, which has already resulted in deaths and injuries. Dozens of gas and electricity infrastructure facilities, including gas regulating stations and substations, have been destroyed as a result of the attacks.

The auction for the sale of gas supply systems belonging to the limited liability company YUGAZ did not take place due to the lack of bidders.

The 66 gas supply systems are located in Odesa region and Odesa and are owned by Odesagaz Joint Stock Company on the right of economic management. Access to information about this facility is limited, as such information is classified as restricted under martial law.

The starting price of the lot was set at UAH 166 million 979.9 thousand. A new auction is currently scheduled to take place on July 2 with a starting price of UAH 125 million 234.9 thousand.
