The "lawmaker" supported the resolutions "On holding an all-Crimean referendum" and "On the Declaration of Independence of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol".

In March 2014, the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the AR of Crimea of the VI convocation, together with other deputies, voted for the adoption of illegal decisions to legitimize the occupation of the peninsula by the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

According to the prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, in March 2014, the former member of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea supported the resolutions "On holding a Crimean referendum" and "On the Declaration of Independence of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol", which provided for "the peninsula's accession to the Russian Federation". Contrary to the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which terminated the powers of the Crimean parliament, on March 17, the convict voted for the adoption of illegal resolutions "On the Independence of Crimea" and "On the Succession of the Republic of Crimea".

Also, in April 2014, the "legislator" took part in an extraordinary meeting of the occupation State Council of the Republic of Crimea and voted for the approval of the "Constitution of the Republic of Crimea". By his actions and decisions, the convict assisted the aggressor state in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine to the detriment of its sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability.

Another former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the AR of Crimea of the VI convocation was sentenced in absentia under public prosecution by the prosecutor's office of the autonomy. He was found guilty of treason and sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Also, the prosecutor's offices of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city served a notice of suspicion to 41-year-old Serhiy Korolev, the pseudo-deputy minister of economic development of the Republic of Crimea. Before the occupation of the peninsula, the man worked as the chief state auditor-inspector of the department of control and verification of income and fees of individuals of the Main Department of the Ministry of Income in the AR of Crimea. In 2014, he went over to the enemy and began building a career in the occupation department of the Federal Tax Service in the Republic of Crimea. In addition, in January 2024, the former tax officer was appointed as the pseudo-deputy occupation minister of economic development of the Republic of Crimea, a position he holds to this day.
