At the public prosecution of the Crimean prosecutor's office, the 'first deputy minister of culture of the Republic of Crimea' was convicted of defecting to the enemy. The traitor was found guilty of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the ARC.

The woman was sentenced to seven years in prison, with the deprivation of the right to hold positions in state and local government, engage in economic activity for a period of 10 years, with confiscation of property.

The court proved that in 2023, the citizen of Ukraine agreed to voluntarily take up the position of 'First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea', which she still holds.

Exercising her powers, the convict implements the state policy of the Russian Federation in the spheres of culture and arts, thus contributing to the strengthening of the occupation authorities on the territory of the Crimean peninsula. In particular, the official is on the sanctions lists of Ukraine, Switzerland and the European Union.

Earlier it became known that the former judge of the Dzhankoy District Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea sided with the occupation authorities and acts as a so-called"judge" in the occupied part of Kherson region.

In July 2024, while in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, the former judge agreed to be"appointed" to the so-called "Kherson Regional Court" created by the occupation administration. He actually administered justice on behalf of and in the interests of the aggressor state, contributing to the formation and strengthening of the occupation system in the occupied territory.

The court found him guilty in absentia of cooperation (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and sentenced him to 14 years in prison with disqualification to hold positions in state authorities, local self-government, law enforcement and judicial bodies for 15 years, as well as confiscation of property.
