Fire starts at recreation center in Mykolaiv region due to shelling: one person injured

In Ochakiv, a fire broke out at a recreation center and a power plant due to falling shrapnel. An employee of the enterprise was injured in the shelling.

On the night of December 29, air defense forces destroyed nine Shahed 131/136 drones in the Mykolaiv region.

On December 28, at around 23:40, the enemy attacked the city of Ochakiv with Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones. The falling debris caused a fire that engulfed three outbuildings and a recreation center in the recreational area. The fire was quickly extinguished thanks to the prompt actions of the rescuers. No one was injured.

On the night of December 29 at 00:50, an enemy drone attacked the Chornomorsk community. The attack resulted in a hit to a building that was not in use, as well as a fire in an administrative building at an energy infrastructure facility. The fire was quickly extinguished. A 49-year-old employee of the company was injured. The victim's condition is assessed by doctors as satisfactory.

On the night of December 28, air defense forces and means destroyed 12 Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolaiv region. As a result of the combat operation and falling wreckage, a fire broke out on the roof of a five-story residential building and dry grass on the territory of an industrial enterprise. Both fires were quickly extinguished by firefighters. The roof of the residential building was partially destroyed and windows were smashed.

On December 22, Mykolaiv region and the city were attacked by kamikaze drones and artillery. The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces repelled the attack. The water area of the Ochakiv community came under artillery fire. There were no casualties. Also at 17:28, the enemy fired artillery at the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties.

On December 15, the enemy carried out an air attack on the city using Shahed 131/136 drones. The attack damaged infrastructure facilities and injured two employees.
