Ex-official's company wins 100 million tender in Odesa region

The State Enterprise "Local Road Service of Ukraine" has conducted a procurement to select a company that will be paid for the operational maintenance of public roads of local importance in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district.

The relevant information was published in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

The procurement was conducted in the format of open bidding with special features and the only participant was Maxdorstroy Limited Liability Company. The company asked for UAH 99 million 506.6 thousand for its road maintenance services, which is UAH 600.6 thousand less than the expected cost of the procurement.

According to the YouControl service, the ultimate beneficiary of the company is currently Oleksandr Riffa. The owner of the company is identical by name, surname and patronymic to the former CEO of the state enterprise Classification Society Register of Shipping of Ukraine (2021-2023), who also served as director of the Odesa-based utility Miskzelentrest (2011-2015).

He is also a director of the state enterprise Odesa Automobile Repair Plant, which is in the process of bankruptcy.

Also, the State Enterprise "Local Road Service" conducted a procurement to select a company that will be paid for the operational maintenance of public roads of local importance in the Bolhrad district. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special conditions, and the only participant was Eurodor Limited Liability Company.

In June, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa region held an auction to select a company to pay for the operational maintenance of public roads of national importance.

The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special conditions, but three companies took part in it: Rostdorstroy Limited Liability Company, Evrodor Limited Liability Company, and Paritetbudinvest Construction Firm Limited Liability Company. Eurodor LLC was chosen as the winner, offering to work for UAH 780 million 775 thousand.
