Enemy strikes at coastal communities in Mykolaiv region: a kindergarten is among the targets

Mykolaiv region has experienced another day of shelling by Russian invaders.

The head of the regional military administration Vitaliy Kim reported on the consequences.

On August 9, at lunchtime, the enemy fired on the Kutsurubska community of Mykolaiv region. The attacks took place at 12:00, 12:39 and 13:12, damaging the village club and kindergarten in Ivanivka village. Fortunately, no one was injured.

On the same day, at 14:32, the enemy shelled the town of Ochakiv, which is part of the Ochakiv community. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a non-residential outbuilding and on dry grass. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire, and there were no casualties.

Also on August 9, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. The attacks took place at 14:53, 15:27, 15:42, 16:00, 16:12, 18:50 and 19:30. In one case in the village of Solonchaky, a drone hit a residential building, causing a fire on the roof, which was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties.

Last night, seven Shahed 131/136 UAVs were destroyed in the sky over Mykolaiv region. The falling wreckage caused a fire.

On the night of August 7, air defense forces and means destroyed 14 attack drones in Mykolaiv region. As a result of combat operations and falling wreckage, two dry grass fires broke out in open areas in Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts, which were promptly extinguished by firefighters.

On the night of August 6, the Russian occupiers once again terrorized Ukraine at night and launched several groups of drones from different directions. Most of them headed towards Mykolaiv region. In the skies over the region, 13 Shahed-136/131 UAVs were destroyed.

On August 4, at 05:12, Ochakiv came under mortar attack. A 61-year-old woman was injured, she received medical aid on the spot. Four private houses were also damaged.
