On the night of August 20, enemy drones were again targeted in Mykolaiv region.
According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, air defense destroyed five Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
In addition, on August 19, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community using FPV drones at 09:55, 10:12, 10:42 and 19:53. One of the UAVs caused a fire in an open area outside the settlement, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters. There were no casualties.
During the telethon, Vitaliy Kim said that 20 enemy Shaheed drones were shot down over Mykolaiv region during the week, trying to attack critical infrastructure facilities.
He noted that enemy UAVs not only fly through the region, but also try to hit specific targets in the region. Several buildings were damaged during the latest attacks, but no casualties were reported.
Almost every day, the Russian occupation army strikes at the coastal communities of Mykolaiv region.
On the night of August 19, air defense forces destroyed three Shahed 131/136 UAVs. Private houses were damaged as a result of the hit.
On August 16, at 11:55, 12:18, 15:15, and on August 17, at 04:55, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. As a result of one of the attacks, three police officers who were documenting the consequences of the attack were wounded and a police car was damaged. The law enforcement officers sustained explosive wounds.
On the night of August 13, air defense forces and means destroyed 10 Shahed-136/131 UAVs in Mykolaiv region. In the morning, on August 11, at 07:00 and 07:55, the enemy attacked the village of Dmytrivka in the Kutsurub community with two FPV drones. Two private houses were damaged as a result of the attack.
