Today, on November 12, Mykolaiv has declared a day of mourning for our citizens who died as a result of the attack by the Russian occupiers on November 11. On that day, five Mykolaiv residents became victims of the aggressor. My sincere condolences to the families of the victims.

At about 01:50 am on November 11, the Russian occupation army attacked Mykolaiv using Shahed drones. Two residential neighborhoods were attacked. The shelling claimed the lives of five people," Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported. "There were interruptions in heat supply due to a break in the heating network, and gas supply was cut off. Fires that broke out in a multi-storey building and a private house were quickly extinguished. One private house was destroyed and several other buildings, including a multi-storey building, were damaged. Two cars were also destroyed, and the blast wave damaged several apartments and four shops.
According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, the enemy used a thermobaric type of Shaheda charge. This means that the occupiers targeted residential areas of the city with a shell designed for maximum damage.
Earlier it was reported that on November 6, the occupiers attacked Mykolaiv region with artillery and drones. The attack damaged infrastructure, power lines, and injured people. Starting at 20:00 on November 9, the enemy attacked with a record number of unmanned aerial vehicles, launching 145 units.
Also on November 5, Ochakiv came under enemy artillery fire. The shelling set a house on fire, and two people were injured - a 13-year-old girl and a 39-year-old woman. As of the morning, the condition of the victims is stable. In addition, as a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a residential building, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
