In Mykolaiv region, a road maintenance contract was awarded to the company of an Odesa MP from the banned OPFL. The company receives more than four million hryvnias for two weeks of work.

This was reported by Anti-Corruption Dimension with reference to the Prozorro e-procurement system.

The Housing and Communal Services Department of the Yuzhnoukrainsk City Council of Mykolaiv Oblast signed a contract for road maintenance without holding an open tender. The works, worth UAH 4.3 million, will be performed by Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud, a company from Odesa.

The repair work will last until December 20, 2024, which is only two weeks. During this period, it is planned to eliminate subsidence and cracks on the roads of Yuzhnoukrainsk and repair the pavement with hot asphalt concrete mixture.

BerezivkaAgroShlyakhBud is a company that is part of the Khachatryan family business group. It is headed by Prince Khachatryan, a longtime MP at various levels who once represented the Opposition Platform for Life and the Party of Regions, both known for their pro-Russian positions.

Despite the ban on the OPFL's activities in Ukraine, Khachatryan 's company continues to receive significant government contracts. According to the YouControl system, the total amount of the company's contracts exceeds UAH 7.6 billion.

Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud is actively earning money by rebuilding the infrastructure of Odesa region after the attacks by Russian troops.

This is not the only contract in Mykolaiv that the Odesa-based company has been awarded. In October, they signed a contract for the construction of a shelter with inflated prices. The auction was attended by only one participant, Nimfan, which received the contract for 90 million hryvnias. The contract was for the construction of a radiation shelter for the Rybakiv Lyceum. The Nimfan company, owned by Odesa residents Nina Cherniayeva and Ihor Melnychuk, has been involved in scandalous deals before.

Also, the construction of a shelter in the village of Nechayne in Mykolaiv region for 34 million was entrusted to the company accused of embezzlement. The cost of the work was UAH 33.8 million, and the contractor was BC Interbud, whose co-owner was accused of embezzling budget funds.
