Two frontline communities in Kherson Oblast have received armored vehicles.
This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
The report says that the special vehicles with the fourth class of protection will be used to evacuate residents of Beryslav and Tyahyn communities. These settlements are being shelled by Russian troops with particular brutality. Therefore, the availability of protected vehicles makes it safer to rescue people who remain on the line of fire.
It is noted that the cars were purchased with the support of the temporarily occupied communities of the region - Kakhovka and Novotroitskaya. As part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," they have allocated more than UAH 17.7 million in donations.

At the beginning of last year, Kherson police evacuated a mother with two young children who needed medical care from Novooleksandrivka, which was under fire from the Russian military.
After several months of occupation and subsequent liberation, the settlement has been under constant fire from the Russian army.
"Until the last moment, a family with small children stayed there, not wanting to evacuate to a safer place. But when the 5-year-old boy and his 3-year-old sister needed a doctor's consultation, the mother decided to leave," the Kherson regional police said in a statement.
Earlier, it was reported that the Kherson City Military Administration took over special vehicles donated by charitable organizations for a total of almost UAH 200 million into communal ownership. The received vehicles are assigned to the municipal enterprise on the right of economic management. The company is obliged to include them in its balance sheet and provide relevant reports. If necessary, the Department of Municipal Economy will amend the company's charter to reflect the new revenues.
Another place of temporary residence in Kherson has become more cozy and comfortable. Thanks to philanthropists, one of the IDP centers received the necessary appliances and furniture
