Collaboration Charges Against Halyna Odintsova and Others in Kakhovka

Halyna Odintsova, a 65-year-old lawyer and former judge of the Kalanchak district court, headed the illegal "Department of Labor and Social Policy" during the occupation of Kakhovka.

As stated in the text of the suspicion, Odintsova, a lawyer with the Kherson Regional Bar Council, previously worked as a judge of the Kalanchak District Court. In 2006-2007, she was engaged in entrepreneurial activities - she provided legal services, was the founder of Zolote Runo LLC, which manufactures furniture.

Odintsova was also involved in the pseudo-referendum in Kakhovka in September 2022. The woman helped the enemy compile voter lists. For the crime, the prosecutor's office notified Odintsova in absentia of suspicion of collaboration. She faces five to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office submitted to the court an indictment against a woman who headed an illegally created school during the occupation of Kakhovka district - the invaders opened an educational institution on the basis of the seized Rubanivska school.

Law enforcement officers also served suspicion notices to two residents of Kherson who worked for the enemy in the "police department" during the occupation of the city. These are a 37-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man. They are suspected of voluntarily taking up positions in the illegally created "Suvorov City Police" that operated under the control of the invaders.

The court also sentenced a former police major from Kherson region who voluntarily defected to the occupiers. He was found guilty of committing serious criminal offenses, including treason and collaboration. The accused is a native of Illinka village, Kakhovka district, Kherson region, a resident of Fedorivka village, Dariivka community.
