There was no information about the victims.

Later, the Russian army struck an educational institution in the central part of Kherson. As a result of the shelling:

Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration emphasized that these strikes are another manifestation of terror against the civilian population. The occupiers deliberately target non-military facilities to harm people and sow panic among citizens.

This is not the first case of attacks on civilian infrastructure in Kherson region. Regular shelling of shops, schools, residential buildings and medical facilities is a violation of international humanitarian law and a war crime.

In addition, yesterday the invaders shelled Mykhailivka, Kizomys, Olhivka, Dniprovske, Virivka, Novovorontsovka, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Poniativka, Tomaryne, Beryslav, Zelenivka, Vesele, Veletynske and Kherson. The enemy also launched a ballistic missile attack on Beryslav district.

As a result of the attack, three multi-story buildings, 11 private houses, a gas pipeline, public courts and several private vehicles were damaged.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on December 18, at around 17:00, Russian army soldiers attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson.

The explosives killed a man, and another civilian in the car was injured and hospitalized. The prosecutor's office launched a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings over a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The SES added that in the afternoon, the occupiers fired on the village of Bilozerka. One of the enemy shells hit a private yard, and a fire broke out. Rescuers quickly eliminated it, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
