Another 25 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity, including Kherson region defenders

On Wednesday, January 15, 25 citizens, including military personnel and civilians, returned to Ukraine during a regular exchange with Russia.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, the released people include defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal, as well as Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Many of them have serious injuries or serious illnesses.

"Each of them will receive all the necessary medical care," the president said.

Zelenskyy noted that the exchange was made possible by the United Arab Emirates.
