An agricultural company became the leader among employers in Mykolaiv region, and energy companies - in Kherson and Odesa regions

In Mykolaiv region, the agricultural company Nibulon remains the largest employer. In Kherson and Odesa oblasts, the leaders are energy companies Khersonoblenergo and DTEK Odesa Power Grids, which have maintained stable positions despite the war.

This is evidenced by the data of the monitoring service Opendatabot.

Opendatabot has published an annual ranking of the largest employers in the regions of Ukraine based on the financial statements of companies submitted to the State Statistics Service. The company with the largest number of employees was identified in each region.

The agricultural company Nibulon became the largest employer in Mykolaiv region, despite the fact that its staff has decreased by almost a quarter to 2,800 employees over the past year. In Odesa and Kherson regions, the largest number of jobs is created by regional power distribution companies - DTEK Odesa Power Grids and Khersonoblenergo, respectively. The companies provide stable employment even in border and frontline regions.

The list includes both national giants, such as Ukrzaliznytsia (178,000 employees) in Kyiv or ATB-Market (46,000) in Dnipro, and regional leaders, such as Fora in Kyiv region, Aurora in Poltava region, or Flextronics in Zakarpattia.

In Zaporizhzhia , Motor Sich took first place (13.3 thousand), and in Poltava, Aurora (12.5 thousand, +5.7%). In the Kyiv region, Fora (9.1 thousand) and Okko-Drive (6.7 thousand, +4.6%) were the top two.

Vinnytsia Poultry Factory is the leader in Vinnytsia region (5.9 thousand), and Kromberg & Schubert in Volyn (5 thousand). In Donetsk region, it is Pokrovske Mine Management (4.5 thousand, down 2222%), in Zhytomyr region, UPG filling stations (3.8 thousand, up 14.5%), and in Ternopil region, SE Bordnetse (3.5 thousand, down 13.313.3%). In Kirovohrad region, Faino Market (3.3 thousand) holds the leading position, in Zakarpattia - Flextronics (2.5 thousand, - 15.5%), in Rivne region Rivneazot (1.8 thousand) has the most employees, and in Bukovyna - Taisra Group (1.2 thousand).

Analysts also released a rating of the most profitable companies in the construction sector for 2024. It was led by companies from Odesa region that specialize in road construction and repair. They declared the highest revenues among construction businesses in Ukraine.
