Air defense shoots down enemy drone in Kherson region

Over the past 24 hours, three civilians in the Kherson region have become victims of Russian aggression, and ten more people have been injured.

According to the Kherson Military Command's report, 40 settlements in the region came under enemy fire and air strikes, including Kherson, Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka and others.

The Russians struck residential areas and social infrastructure facilities. The occupants damaged three multi-storey buildings and 22 private houses. A gas pipeline, garages, and a private car were damaged as a result of the shelling. Three civilians were killed and ten others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

Despite the difficult situation, the Ukrainian military continues to hold the line. During a night attack, the Air Defense Forces shot down an enemy Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drone over the Kherson region.

The JFO added that two people were injured in Kherson as a result of morning Russian shelling on January 30.

A 48-year-old woman sustained explosive trauma and concussion, she was provided with medical assistance. A 61-year-old woman sustained severe injuries, including an explosive injury and amputation of her arm. She was hospitalized.

In addition, a 56-year-old man who was injured during a Russian UAV attack on Kherson on January 28 was hospitalized.

He was diagnosed with an explosive injury, provided with medical care and released for outpatient treatment.

Before that, Russian troops attacked 38 settlements in Kherson region. The shelling killed two civilians and injured 14 others.

During the enemy shelling in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, the building of a school was significantly damaged. Earlier, Russian troops fired twice at rescuers. During the shelling of one of Kherson's neighborhoods, an employee of the State Emergency Service was injured while performing emergency rescue operations. He was hospitalized.
