Air defense destroyed two drones in Mykolaiv region

On the night of August 11, air defense forces destroyed two Shahed 131/136 attack drones over Mykolaiv region. No other enemy aircraft were spotted in the region's airspace that night.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Yesterday, on August 10, at 12:00, the enemy attacked the Kutsurubska community with an FPV drone. As a result, a private house in Dniprovske village was damaged. There were no casualties or injuries. As a reminder, Kutsurubska community in Mykolaiv region is one of the most frequently targeted by enemy attacks. On August 4, Russian troops attacked it five times with FPV drones. As a result of the shelling, a private house caught fire in the village of Dniprovske. The fire was extinguished, and no one was injured.

On August 3, Russian troops attacked the Kutsurubska community four times with FPV drones, damaging a power line in Dniprovske village and a private house in Dmytrivka. The Ochakivska community was also hit by a drone. There were no casualties.

On August 2, according to the Sports Committee of Ukraine, a Russian missile damaged the Vodoley sports complex in Mykolaiv, one of the main training bases for Ukrainian diving and synchronized swimming teams. It is at this sports complex that young athletes train, who will represent Ukraine on the international stage in the coming years. Dozens of champions and prize-winners have been trained here, and they have glorified the country at prestigious competitions. The blast wave smashed windows in the complex and covered some of the premises with debris.
