"Admiral De Ribas" bought by Turks for 23 million

The state-owned Odesa Port enterprise has auctioned off the Admiral De Ribas vessel along with its equipment.

According to the Prozorro.Sale system, two companies took part in the auction: Balker Limited Liability Company and Turkish Aleria Denizcilik Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi.

The winner was the latter, which agreed to pay UAH 22 million 951.1 thousand for the vessel, 400 thousand more than its competitor.

The starting price was UAH 22.5 million. The vessel was built in 1994 and was sold with the following equipment: a lifeboat, a TT-3000SSA security alarm, a FURUNO-2125 radar station, two Viking-20 life rafts, a Kometa-4 gas analyzer, AIS T111 shipboard equipment, FURUNO satellite equipment, a Kometa-1 gas analyzer, a magnetic compass storage container, a REGAL refrigerator, and an INDESIT refrigerator.

Also among the equipment: a professional dough mixer, a transitional ladder, an ICOM 1500 radio station, a HAIER washing machine, a TURE 11/180 millimeter magnetic compass, a ZANUSSI freezer, a ZANUSSI washing machine, an INDESIT dryer, a breathing apparatus for firefighting equipment, a four-plate electric stove, a SHARP microwave oven, a MINOLTA copier, an LG TV set, a portable protective device 230P4m, a PHILIPS TV set-20, a stainless steel electric kettle.

Main data of the vessel: general cargo, flag: Ukraine, home port: Odesa, place of construction: Slovakia, gross tonnage (GRT): 2,446, net registered tonnage (NRT): 957, length: 81.8 meters, beam 12.8 meters, height of the side: 7.1 meters, draft: 5.48 meters, deadweight: 3,680 tons, hull material: steel. The vessel was out of service from December 26, 2017 to November 21, 2019. The vessel has been operating in bareboat charter since November 21, 2019.
