The command of Russia's Black Sea Fleet plans to relocate its headquarters from occupied Sevastopol to Novorossiysk. Some officers are already evacuating their families from Crimea without waiting for official orders.

This was reported by the military-partisan movement "Atesh."

According to "Atesh" informants within the Russian military, plans to relocate the command headquarters to Novorossiysk are being developed within the Black Sea Fleet’s command structures.

Some officers are already handling the practicalities of the move without waiting for official orders: they are transporting their families, disposing of property they cannot take with them, and settling into their new homes in Novorossiysk.

According to underground sources, “moods within the fleet’s leadership are subdued—those who truly understand what is happening prefer not to delay.”

"Atesh" attributes these sentiments to the deteriorating security situation for Russian troops in Crimea following a series of strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on military facilities on the peninsula.

Intent previously reported that on May 27, the Ukrainian military launched Storm Shadow missiles at Russian aviation facilities in occupied Sevastopol. At that time, the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s aviation unit on GogolStreet was struck.

Following this, according to the partisans, strikes on the occupied peninsula have only intensified, and the logistical situation for Russian occupiers in Crimea has significantly deteriorated.

"Maintaining command structures on the peninsula is becoming an increasingly costly and risky decision for the occupiers," the movement noted.

As the partisans warn, the coming months could be the most critical for the occupying forces in Crimea since the war began.

They also added that they continue to monitor the movements of Russian troops and changes in the command structure of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

It should be noted that there is currently no independent confirmation of reports regarding preparations for the redeployment of the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s command.
