On the night of May 28, a series of explosions occurred in the occupied Crimea, and Russian air defense was operating in Sevastopol, Feodosia, and near the Kacha airfield.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that Russian military facilities in Sevastopol had been hit by Storm Shadow missiles.

According to the General Staff, on the night of May 27, units of the Ukrainian Air Force struck at software and hardware complexes of the Russian Air Force's intelligence automation systems near Voronezh, Taganrog and Sevastopol.

The Atesh military guerrilla movement claimed that the attack in Sevastopol hit the aviation headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on Gogol Street.

The movement noted that the Russian military had been using this building as one of the key command and control points for the fleet, despite claims that the Black Sea Fleet had been relocated to Novorossiysk.

Also on the night of May 28, explosions were heard again in occupied Sevastopol. The occupation "governor" Mikhail Razvozhayev announced the operation of air defense and an allegedly downed drone in the area of the northern side of the city.

According to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, a drone was heard flying overhead in Feodosia, as well as shooting and at least four explosions. Around 05:15, two powerful explosions were also reported near the Kacha airfield and a fighter jet flying in the direction of Sevastopol.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the alleged interception and destruction of 62 Ukrainian drones over the occupied Crimea, the Sea of Azov and Russian regions.

The day before, an air raid lasted about seven hours in Sevastopol. The occupation authorities claimed damage to apartment buildings and private homes.

In addition, on the night of May 27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Tuapse Oil Refinery in the city of Tuapse, Krasnodar Territory, Russia. A fire and heavy smoke were recorded on the territory of the enterprise.

The Tuapse refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in southern Russia. Its capacity is about 12 million tons of oil per year, and its products are used, in particular, to supply the Russian army.

The Ukrainian military also struck the occupiers' command posts in the areas of Tsvetni Pisky and Sorokyne in Luhansk region, a logistics warehouse in Sorokyne, and a drone production facility in the Azovske area of Zaporizhzhia region.

Other targets hit included a Nebo-SV radar station near Kamianka and a Buk-M2 command and control vehicle near Kadiivka in Luhansk region.

The General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue systematic strikes against the military infrastructure and military-economic potential of the Russian Federation.
