About fifty applications to move out of the Korabel neighborhood, including eighteen from residents with limited mobility. Among them are 31 children.

These statistics were summarized today by the Kherson Regional Military Administration after the shelling of the Korabel neighborhood by air bombs.

"Unfortunately, we already have two categorical refusals," - said the head.

According to him, about 1,800 people remain there, including 187 people with limited mobility and 31 children.

"We are working on their evacuation. There are 35 vehicles available for evacuation, including ambulances for transportation of people with limited mobility. Places for comfortable living in shelters have been prepared for each and every person who decides to evacuate," Prokudin said.

He also added that seven families with children have agreed to leave.

According to the official, the prospect of further staying in the area is not bright. Due to the damage to the bridge, it will be difficult to deliver food for some time. Gas supply will also be cut off after a certain period of time.

Three settlements in Kherson region have been recognized as dangerous for life. The reason is constant shelling and drone attacks by the Russian army. The population needs urgent evacuation. However, the head of the Kherson regional administration decided not to force anyone to leave.

Strengthening security and counteracting drone attacks by the Russian army was discussed, among other issues, at the Defense Council on August 1. The Department of Civil Defense and Defense Work of the Kherson Regional State Administration purchased 5.1 million UAH worth of mesh netting.
