A volunteer was wounded during the evacuation of people from the most shelled settlements in Kherson region

Recently, volunteers and representatives of the Kherson City Military Administration evacuated 47 people from Antonivka and other hotspots of the community. One of the volunteers was injured as a result of an explosive drop from an enemy drone.

According to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MBA, volunteers and MBA staff involved in the evacuation of people from under fire risk their own lives and lose their health to get those who ignored calls to evacuate until the last minute.

"Every day, according to the official, it is getting harder to find volunteers for evacuation teams working in extremely dangerous conditions. Each flight may be the last one," added Mrochko.

According to the official, volunteers have evacuated 45 people over the past three days. Ihor Chornyi of the NGO "Strong and Free", Andriy Petukhov of the NGO "To Do Good in Kherson Region", the team of SaveUkraine, the St. Martin de Porres Foundation and the head of Antonivka village Serhiy Ivashchenko helped evacuate people.

The Kherson HOVA also said that two elderly people were evacuated from the village of Tomaryne in the Beryslav community to the Kirovohrad region. They were temporarily accommodated in the center for IDPs in the village of Adzhamky. Now they will be safe and receive all the necessary assistance.

"One of the evacuees is currently undergoing treatment in a medical facility in Kryvyi Rih. After completing the course of treatment, he will join his family in the center for IDPs," the official added.

Recently, a 40-year-old resident of Komyshany asked the police department to evacuate her and her four children as soon as possible after another enemy attack. Three girls, aged 15 and 12, as well as a 7-year-old boy, could no longer stand the constant fear for their lives and hiding in the basement from "enemy aircraft". Therefore, police officers from Police Department No. 2 (Korabelnyi) together with colleagues from Police Department No. 2 (Oleshkivskyi) of the Kherson District Department evacuated the family from this dangerous settlement.
