According to the artist, there is hope that “Korkotyag,” as a new symbol of Tairov, will help reveal the value of the local terroir and the talents of the people who live and work here. The unveiling of “Korkotyag” marks the first stage in the creation of the Taivove Winemakers’ Square—a public space designed to bring together local winemakers, art, cultural events, and tourism. The Corkscrew Museum is already open nearby; its exhibition traces the development of the corkscrew and wine culture from the 18th century to the present day. In the future, these sites are set to become part of a unified cultural and tourist route in Tairov.
