A new residential complex for IDPs is to be built in Mykolaiv region

Mykolaiv region decided to build a residential complex for internally displaced persons. It is planned to raise more than UAH 3 billion for this purpose.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

A new construction of a residential apartment complex intended for temporary residence of internally displaced persons in the city of Pervomaisk is planned.

The purpose of the construction is to provide adequate living conditions for people who have lost their homes or had them seriously damaged due to hostilities.

The project was initiated by the Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Project Development of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. The Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Pervomaisk City Council was designated as the balance holder.

The project budget is UAH 3.3 billion. It is planned to spend UAH 1 billion 609 million 275 thousand 492 on the construction itself. UAH 359 million 302 thousand 566 will be spent on the purchase of equipment. Other capital expenditures will amount to UAH 1 billion 366 million 883 thousand 823.

The estimated construction period is 81 months. The construction project is in the implementation status and currently requires funding.

Planning for the construction began in 2022. According to Prozorro, UAH 10 million was allocated from the budget for the production of design and estimate documentation for the facility. The documentation was produced by Concord Project LLC.

Voznesensk also planned to convert a non-residential building into social housing for IDPs and people in difficult life circumstances. Seventy million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for this purpose. After reconstruction, the building will provide housing for 72 people.

Mykolaiv also plans to raise UAH 6 billion to build a water filtration system. The goal of the project is to provide the city with a stable and high-quality water supply through the construction of a pressure filtration system, which will improve the quality of drinking water and increase the reliability of water supply.
