The city of Artsyz, Odesa Oblast, is planning to improve the conditions for emergency medical care. The plan is to move the ambulance station from an unsuitable former hotel to a reconstructed bacteriology laboratory building. Currently, funds in the amount of 15.6 million are being sought for this project.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, information about this is contained in the DREAM ecosystem.

Currently, the separate unit "Artsyzka Emergency Medical Care Station" serves 10 communities in the south of the region: Artsyzka, Teplytska, Pavlivska, Bessarabska, Budzhatska, Saratska, Plakhtiyivska, Petropavlivska, Tatarbunarska and Limanska. Due to the large volume of work, the load on the station is excessive, and the working conditions at 4A Vokzalna Street are unsatisfactory.

The municipal building of the former laboratory at 73-G Jakob Klett Street in Artsyz will become a new location for the station. According to the project initiators from the Artsyz City Council, this will create a functional modern base with all the necessary conditions for prompt response to calls, comfortable work of doctors and better patient care.

The project budget is UAH 15.6 million. Of this amount, UAH 12.1 million is for capital expenditures (design, reconstruction), and another UAH 3.5 million is for operating expenses. Funding for UAH 3.6 million has already been confirmed, which is 23% of the total amount. The main source of funding is expected to come from a state subvention, but the previous application of January 23, 2025, has not yet received a positive decision.

The new station is planned to be equipped in 2025. If the project is successful, residents of southern Odesa region will be able to count on better and more prompt medical care in emergency situations.

In November 2024, the Artsyzka community began a large-scale reconstruction of its wastewater treatment facilities, which had long been in disrepair. In September, an auction was held in the format of an open bidding with peculiarities. Only one participant, Cortakoz LLC, was present and offered to carry out the reconstruction for UAH 79 million 877 thousand. This company became the winner. The city council signed an agreement with it on October 10.
