The post says that the room demonstrates the UK's historical ties with the peninsula, in particular during the Crimean War, and emphasizes the UK's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity.

It is noted that the opening ceremony of the Crimean Room was attended by Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva, who delivered a welcoming speech and presented the Ambassador with a model of the Magura V5 maritime drone from the Mission and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, which destroyed the largest number of Russian ships in the Black Sea during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The press service added that the Crimean Room is designed to honor the culture of the indigenous people of Ukraine - the Crimean Tatars. The British Embassy Kyiv has specially ordered traditional metal, ceramic and fabric products from well-known Crimean Tatar craftsmen to demonstrate the rich and ancient culture of the peninsula. The room also features authentic medals from the Crimean War, loaned to the British Embassy by the Light Dragoons Regimental Museum. Among them is a medal that was posthumously awarded to a participant in the Light Brigade's attack during the Battle of Balaklava.

This is the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine 'On the Legal Regime of Martial Law' on the Peculiarities of Restoring Public Power in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol." One of the innovations is the establishment of the Military Administration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
