In Ochakiv, the Department of Education and Humanitarian Affairs of the City Council ordered a private entrepreneur to repair a shelter at a local lyceum. The total value of the contract was UAH 3.4 million. The company was hired without a tender, and therefore without competition.

According to the publication Antikorruptionnyi Vymir, which cites the Prozorro e-procurement system, the repairs are to be completed by December 31, 2024. This is not the first such contract for the 75-year-old businesswoman. It is worth noting that none of her contracts were concluded through open bidding - she received all contracts without competition.

Tamara Sinkevych was registered as a sole proprietor back in 2001, but she started receiving government contracts only in 2024. Since then, the entrepreneur has signed contracts totaling UAH 7.5 million. At the same time, there is no information about her experience in the field of construction work, availability of qualified personnel or appropriate material and technical base.

According to the publication, Tamara Sinkevych was engaged in a completely different activity until recently - trade, in particular the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Meanwhile, in the Mykolaiv region, rain flooded the lyceum shelter, which cost more than 16 million from the budget to repair. In the spring, the readiness of this shelter after major repairs was confirmed by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Anton Tabunschyk and his deputies.

Also in Mykolaiv, the simplest shelter was set up in an apartment building . The bomb shelter, with an area of over 300 square meters, can accommodate about 200 people. In the first half of the year, Mykolaiv region added another 80 shelters and became one of the leaders in the construction of protective structures.

In addition, Mykolaiv plans to spend about UAH 6 million on designing shelters in educational institutions. An Odesa-based company will design all five facilities.
