A dual-purpose protective structure with the protective properties of a radiation shelter is planned to be built for 40 million hryvnias at the Novovoskresenska school with a preschool department.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, this became known from the digital ecosystem for accountable management of the DREAM recovery .

According to a fundraising announcement published on February 3 by the Humanitarian Affairs Department of the Novovorontsovo Village Council, the construction of the shelter will provide educational services for 25 preschool children and primary education for 56 schoolchildren. In addition, the educational institution is located more than 50 kilometers from the contact line, which will make it possible to organize a mixed form of education, taking into account the security situation.

The project envisages that the shelter will be equipped with two entrances and exits via stairwells and an elevator. At the entrances, there are rooms for changing clothes and storing contaminated clothing. The premises for preschoolers and students in grades 1-2 should be divided into a zone for rest and sleep, a zone for eating and classes, a play area, a zone for placing shoes and clothes, and a zone for adults. The premises for pupils in grades 3-4 should have an area for classes and meals, a play area, a shoe and clothing area, and an adult area. And the premises for students in grades 5-11 should have a classroom and dining area, a shoe and clothing area, and an adult area.

In addition, the working draft provides for free access to the storage facility for people with limited mobility - lowering the side stones on the pavement, the presence of ramps with a standard slope, no height differences at the entrance to the storage facility, with a door width of at least 0.9 m in cleanliness.

The total estimated budget of the project is UAH 40 million. The total amount of confirmed funding sources is still 0.

In total, since the beginning of the year, 11 sites have been added to the DREAM Digital Ecosystem for Accountable Recovery Management, which are planned to be restored in 2025. At the same time, the cost has been calculated for only two reconstruction projects: the repair of the Mental Health Unit and the reconstruction of the Vysokopil Lyceum building.
