Since the beginning of the year, 1,659 farms participating in the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" have been financed for UAH 8.9 billion.

This was reported by the Government portal.

The enterprises of the following regions received the most funds:

In total, since the beginning of the year, 4,438 agricultural enterprises have attracted more than UAH 20.3 billion in bank loans for development under various programs.

Concessional financing for agricultural producers under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9 Program in 2024-2025 is made possible by the support of the World Bank under the Emergency Project for Inclusive Support for the Recovery of Ukrainian Agriculture (ARISE). The program simplifies access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Agrarians can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are provided at 5-9% per annum, depending on the loan category and business entity.

Earlier, agricultural traders accused representatives of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES) of exerting pressure and blocking work at enterprises in the port of Odesa.

On January 9, the BES announced that it had exposed a group of companies through which funds of American investors were withdrawn for tax evasion during grain transshipment.

According to the BES, the group of companies evaded paying UAH 30 million in income tax while transshipping wheat. The companies are part of a holding company that is a resident of the United Arab Emirates and is involved in a number of criminal proceedings and court cases regarding the illegal withdrawal of funds from American investment funds. Searches are currently underway at the grain terminal.

Earlier, the BES detained grain that was being smuggled out of the port of Odesa.
