"We have come a long, glorious and difficult way as a territorial defense brigade... We have gained tremendous experience. We have a lot to be proud of and at the same time have room to grow. The war is changing. Technologies are improving, conditions and challenges are getting tougher every time. In order to defeat the enemy, we must change as well. We are honored to continue fighting as part of the Marine Corps as the 39th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade. One thing will remain unchanged - our hot heart, which beats for the sake of Ukraine, its freedom and independence," the statement reads.
