Air Defense: News and Analysis
Air defense (AD) is a complex of military means, organizational measures, and operations aimed at protection against enemy air attacks. AD includes radar stations, anti-aircraft systems, and other systems that prevent the enemy from achieving air superiority and protect ground military formations and important civilian objects. On the territory of Ukraine, especially in the context of Russian aggression, AD is critically important for the defense of cities and military positions from aviation and drone strikes.
