Oleshky is a city in Kherson Oblast on the left bank of the Konka River, the center of the Oleshky city community. The city is known for the Oleshky Sands, a unique natural formation in southeastern Ukraine. Oleshky gained particular attention during Russian aggression due to the humanitarian crisis, blockade, and difficult conditions for the evacuation of civilians.
