Ochakiv is a city in Mykolaiv Oblast on the southern coast of Ukraine, located in a strategically important region near the Black Sea. The city has a rich history dating back to the times of the Ottoman Empire and serves as the administrative center of Ochakiv City Community. Ochakiv is actively developing as a cultural and tourist center of southern Ukraine, while remaining in focus of current issues of local development and security.
