A district administration is a local executive authority that carries out management and coordination of activities on the territory of the corresponding district of a city or region. It implements executive functions, issues orders, controls the work of municipal institutions, and provides administrative services to the population. The district administration is headed by a leader appointed by a higher authority and is an important link in local self-government.
