Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has imposed sanctions against the organizers and participants of Russia’s sham elections in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Among them is Olena Dmytruk, an associate of collaborator Volodymyr Saldo from the Kherson region.

This is reported on the President’s website.

Restrictions have been imposed on 44 individuals who act in Russia’s interests and support the occupying authorities in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Crimea. Thirty-eight people on the list hold both Ukrainian and Russian citizenship.

Olena Dmytruk is the first deputy to collaborator Volodymyr Saldo and a deputy in the illegally established occupying Kherson Regional Duma. She was also named the winner of the sham elections to the Russian State Duma in the occupied part of the Kherson region.

According to the publication MOST, Dmytruk is suspected of collaboration. She has been wanted since October 20, 2023. The Kherson City Court has been hearing her case since early 2024, but no verdict has been handed down yet.

Her husband, Mykola Dmytruk, was a member of the Kherson Regional Council and, during Viktor Yanukovych’s presidency, a member of parliament representing the Party of Regions. He died in 2021.

Despite her collaboration with the occupying authorities and the fact that she is wanted, Olena Dmytruk still holds corporate rights in a number of companies registered in the Ukraine-controlled part of the Kherson region.

According to YouControl, she is the sole owner of the company “Khersonlift.” Until 2022, the company maintained elevators in Kherson and received government contracts. There is no information about its activities since the start of the full-scale invasion, but the company has not officially ceased operations.

Dmytruk also owns or holds shares in the following companies:

  • the private industrial and trading firm “Garant”;
  • PJSC “Kam’yanskyi,” which is engaged in grape cultivation;
  • "AgroService" LLC, which grows grain;
  • the construction company “DK – SERVISBUD.”

According to available information, these assets have not been confiscated.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she left Moscow and subsequently flew to Crimea. She currently lives in Simferopol.
