Yachtsmen from Odesa region became world junior champions

• The World Junior Sailing Championships took place in Portugal this week. On the last day of the championship, medals were awarded in the 420 class. Representatives of Ukraine, Svyatoslav Madonich from Odesa and Dmytro Karabadzhak from Zatoka scored 25 points in the decisive races, which allowed them to beat all their rivals and become world champions.

• Alina Shapovalova from Odesa also took part in the championship. She took fifth place in the ICLA6 class.
