In the Izmail region, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) planned to dredge a canal in the Danube Delta. A tender worth almost 78 million was announced, but it was canceled due to a lack of proposals.
According to the information published in the Prozorro system, it was a tender for the maintenance of the sea approach channel of the Danube River-Black Sea deep-water shipping lane in the Izmail district, at the Black Sea bar at the mouth of the Bystre. The cost of the works amounted to UAH 77.99 million. The auction was to be held on April 10, but the bidding did not take place as no bids were submitted.
The procurement included dredging of the 3.374 km long canal with transportation of the dredged material to a special landfill. The works were to be performed by self-propelled dredgers with mandatory slopes on the canal banks. The total volume of dredging was up to 284.4 thousand cubic meters.
The contractor also had to pay for the services of the Danube Hydrometeorological Observatory to calculate the natural siltation of the canal.
The USPA may announce a second tender, but it is not yet known when and under what conditions this will happen.
Meanwhile, the southern branch of USPA has selected the Odessos research vessel repair contractor. The budget for the work was set at UAH 12 million, but the winning bidder reduced the price. Two companies took part in the tender for the repair of Odessos: Kherson Fleet Service LLC and ISRZ PJSC. Kherson Fleet Service LLC offered the best price, which amounted to UAH 11.24 million. In turn, the offer of ISRZ PrJSC was higher by UAH 640 thousand.
Earlier, the Southern Branch of SE USPA held a tender to select a company that will be paid for the maintenance of boats.
Prior to that, the Odesa branch of USPA selected a contractor to be paid for the overhaul of roads.
