UAH 9 million planned to repair roof of MIA hospital in Mykolaiv

A tender has been announced in Mykolaiv for the overhaul of the roof of the Ministry of Internal Affairs hospital. The work should be completed by December 20, 2025, and the contractor will be selected in early September.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic procurement system Prozorro.

The State Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast has announced an open tender for the overhaul of the hospital's roof. The expected cost of the work is over UAH 9 million.

Bidders will be able to submit their proposals until September 4, 2025, and the auction is scheduled to start on the same day. The customer has set a minimum price reduction step of 1%, which amounts to UAH 90,592.

According to the tender documents, the contractor must secure the fulfillment of its obligations with a guarantee of one percent of the contract amount. The selected contractor must complete the work up to and including December 20, 2025.

Prepayment by the customer is provided for in the amount of up to 30% of the contract value and is made within five banking days after receipt of the invoice. The rest of the funds - 70% - will be paid in stages based on certificates of completion and certificates of value.

The roof is being repaired as part of the construction works classified as "other final construction works". The new roof is expected to provide adequate protection of the hospital premises from weather conditions and increase comfort for patients and staff.

Mykolaiv also planned a major overhaul of the surgical unit of the military hospital's surgical department with an expected cost of almost UAH 11 million and completion of the project by the end of next year.

In June, it became known that almost 47 million hryvnias would be allocated for the repair of the veterans' hospital in Mykolaiv, which could be obtained by a company involved in criminal proceedings and that has already won tenders for more than a billion. This is not the first project entrusted to this company: according to the decision of the Novobuzkyi District Court of Mykolaiv Oblast, it participated in the case of misappropriation of budget funds during the reconstruction of a pumping station and a collector in kindergarten and school No. 1 in the village of Kazanka, Bashtanka District.
