UAH 30 million to be spent on repair of water supply networks in Izmail

The Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council has approved the design and estimate documentation for the overhaul of water supply and sewerage networks in the city.

According to Intent, citing the decision of the executive committee No. 868 of November 3, the total estimated cost of the work is UAH 30 million 926 thousand, of which more than UAH 6.2 million is included in the "other expenses" section.

The repairs include the restoration of collectors and water supply networks with a total length of 1055 meters on three streets of Izmail:

• Savytskoho - from Seminarska Street to Burlachenko Serhiy Street,
• Zakhystyvnykiv Zmiiny - from Ukrainskoho Frontu Street to Hryhorii Skovoroda Street,
• Serhiy Burlachenko Street - from Ukrainskyi Frontu Street to Hryhorii Skovoroda Street.

The goal of the project is to prevent man-made emergencies and ensure the stable operation of city utilities.

Meanwhile, on November 5, the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council announced an open tender on the Prozorro platform with specifics for finding a contractor. The expected cost of the works, according to the tender, is UAH 28 million 979 thousand. The bidding is scheduled for November 20. The works will be financed in three stages.

According to the terms of reference, the works include dismantling and reconstruction of water wells, replacement of valves, laying new sections of water and sewerage networks, installation of two sewerage wells 5.5-6 meters deep, connecting consumers to new networks, restoration of the asphalt concrete roadway, landscaping and landscaping of the adjacent territory.

The reconstruction works do not involve the demolition of greenery. According to the terms of the tender, the works should be completed within the next two years - by November 30, 2027.

The Education Department of the Izmail City Council has also selected contractors to renovate the premises of a kindergarten at 4 Klushina Street, which will be used for temporary accommodation of internally displaced persons. The main contract was awarded to a company associated with city council member Igor Dekhtyarev.
