Two people were killed and three injured as a result of a night attack in Odesa region by the Russian army.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper.
Industrial, energy and civilian infrastructure facilities were hit. The attack damaged production and warehouse facilities, administrative buildings, a car dealership, and vehicles. In addition, one of the drones hit an apartment in a high-rise building without detonating. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to the residents. The fires were quickly extinguished by rescuers. Emergency and utility services are working on the ground to eliminate the consequences.
On the night of February 23, the enemy attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile, as well as 126 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass and other types of attack drones. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., the air defense neutralized 105 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country. A ballistic missile and 20 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (wreckage) at one location.
On the night of February 22, Russia once again conducted air strikes with unmanned aerial vehicles in Odesa region. The strikes caused fires over large areas. Rescuers have extinguished all the fires so far. No one was killed or injured. On the night of February 22, the Russians launched a combined attack on Ukraine's critical infrastructure facilities using attack drones, air and ground missiles.
On the night of February 21, the Russians once again massively attacked Odesa region with attack drones and damaged civilian and energy infrastructure. Two city residents were injured - one person was hospitalized and another was treated on the spot.
At least five private houses, a four-apartment building, several garages and cars caught fire and were damaged by the enemy's attacks. A lyceum in the town was partially destroyed, and the warehouses of an energy company were also damaged.
