The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said that it was decided to dismiss Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kotsyuba from this position.

The head of the MMA posted this on Facebook following a staff meeting on November 17.

"We thanked Acting Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kotsyuba, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, for his fruitful work," Lysak wrote.

He said that after a short rest, Mr. Kotsiuba would return to work in the city council in a new position.

Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov announced the appointment of a new acting deputy mayor, Serhiy Kotsiuba, in July 2025.
