They administered "justice" on behalf of the Russians, facilitating the occupation judicial system in Crimea.

Three judges in Crimea are administering "justice" on behalf of Russians, thus contributing to the functioning of the occupation judicial system on the peninsula.

According to the prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, in 2022-2024, Ukrainian citizens agreed to work in the occupation judiciary operating on the peninsula. Thus, one of them voluntarily took the position of a "judge of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Crimea", and the other two became a "judge" and "deputy chairman" of the occupation Sevastopol City Court.

"In their positions, the suspects continue to administer "justice" on behalf of and in the interests of the aggressor state, thereby contributing to the functioning of the occupation judicial system in Crimea," the statement said.

Under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, three occupation judges were served suspicion notices. Their actions are qualified as collaboration. The suspects face up to 15 years in prison.

Earlier, a former judge of the Feodosia City Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was sentenced to 13 years in prison with confiscation of property for treason. After the occupation of the peninsula in 2014, the Ukrainian citizen betrayed her oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people. She prepared an application to the Higher Qualification Collegium of Judges of the Russian Federation to get a position of a "judge" in the illegally established Feodosia City Court of the so-called "Republic of Crimea".

The court also sentenced a woman who started working for the Russian Federation in occupied Crimea. She took the position ofa "justice of the peace". She was tried for collaboration. In addition, two former judges of the Sudak and Kerch city courts of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were found guilty of treason. In court, prosecutors proved that after the occupation of the peninsula, the convicts betrayed their oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine and joined the enemy.
