Law enforcement officers served a notice of suspicion to a resident of occupied Crimea who became a deputy of the illegal Yalta City Council from the United Russia party and helped the Russian military. According to the investigation, he provided the occupiers with equipment, medicines and equipment, and personally visited their positions at the front.

This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

According to the investigation, in 2024, the man was elected a deputy to the so-called Yalta City Council of the Republic of Crimea of the III convocation from the local branch of the Russian party United Russia.

In addition to participating in the occupation authorities, the suspect actively assisted the Russian army. Investigators found that as part of "volunteer" groups, he collected and delivered humanitarian aid for members of the so-called "svoboda".

In particular, he provided the Russian military with transportation, medicines, generators, batteries, chainsaws, blankets and camouflage nets. The man also took part in the manufacture of a rescue boat for one of the assault brigades of the Russian army.

According to the prosecutor's office, the suspect repeatedly personally visited the positions of the Russian military on the front line, where he brought aid. He regularly reported on his activities on social media.

His actions were classified as collaboration and aiding the aggressor state. He faces up to 12 years in prison.

A Crimean resident was also notified in absentia of suspicion of collaboration with the aggressor state. Her company was registered with the fiscal authorities of the Russian Federation and specialized in the sale of motor fuel. Among her so-called clients were the pseudo-prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the civil-military administration, as well as fake "ministries" and forestry and hunting enterprises.
