Mykolaiv is raising tariffs for household waste collection for residents of Korabelnyi district. The new rates will come into effect on May 1, 2026.

The decision was made by the executive committee of Mykolaiv City Council on April 22.

Garbage collection services are provided by Obriy-DKP. The changes concern the collection and transportation of various types of waste.

The new tariffs will be as follows:
mixed household waste - UAH 302.64 per cubic meter instead of UAH 271.81
bulky waste - UAH 561.48 per cubic meter instead of UAH 444.93
repair waste - UAH 536.77 per cubic meter instead of UAH 427.74

The company must inform consumers about the change in the cost of services in accordance with the established procedure.

As a reminder, the Executive Committee of Mykolaiv City Council has raised public transport fares - the new tariffs will take effect in late April and early May.

The current fare for public electric transport is UAH 10 for a paper ticket and UAH 8 for a QR code.

As Intent previously reported, a new trolleybus route No. 14 "Mykolaiv-Vantazhnyi - Kazarskoho Street" will soon appear in Mykolaiv.

In addition, Mykolaiv will receive 40 tramcars from the Swedish city of Gothenburg. These are M29 trams, which were previously used in the Swedish urban transportation system.

As a reminder, in December 2025, tram service was resumed in Mykolaiv on the route No. 3 ChSZ - 10th Military. Electric vehicles are running again according to their usual schedule.

In addition, MP from Mykolaiv region Negulevskyi received more than 400 thousand in compensation. The funds were accrued for unused days of annual paid vacation.

Last year, MP Ihor Negulevskyi bought an apartment in the capital, received income from securities, and declared several hundred thousand in foreign currency. His salary increased by more than 124 thousand hryvnias. According to his declaration, he kept 668 hryvnias in PrivatBank, 260 thousand US dollars in cash, and 44 thousand euros.
